In this workshop, the participants will engage in an interdisciplinary conversation on how to decolonize social sciences in Korea. The discussion concerns a dialogue among Jesook Song and Yoonkyung Lee’s co-authored working paper “Decolonizing Postcolonial Korean Studies”, Jungmin Seo and Young Chul Cho’s co-authored article “The Emergence and Evolution of International Relations Studies in Postcolonial South Korea” published on the Review of International Studies, and Seoyoung Choi’s working paper “A Feminist Comparative Method of Doing IR: Connected Comparison and IR as a Heuristic Device.”
