혁신과학기술의 급속한 발전과 보급, 글로벌 중국의 부상으로 인한 글로벌 구조의 변화로 인하여 新舊의 정치 현상의 질적, 양적, 양질전화적 변화가 폭발적으로 진행되고 있습니다. 2020년대의 국내정치와 국제정치 사이의 상호작용은 더 많은 변수들의 논리들로 각 지역과 국가에서 폭증하여 기존 정치학의 범위를 훌쩍 뛰어넘고 있습니다.

연구분야는 상호작용이라는 대주제 하에서 구체적인 연구들이 다양하게 진행됩니다. 국내정치와 국제정치 간 상호작용이 해당 국가들의 정치, 경제에 미치는 영향에 대한 분석을 시도합니다. 예를 들면 글로벌 중국의 국제적인 힘의 투사 변수가 어떻게 타 지역과 국가의 국내정치 변수와 상호작용하는가를 분석합니다. 동시에 융복합 정치학적 접근인 사물정치(Politics of Things)라는 새로운 분석틀을 적용하여 반도체, 플라스틱, 배터리, 숲, AI 등, 사물 자체의 정치적 특성, 행위자, 네트워크, 그리고 이로 인한 국내정치와 국제정치 상호작용의 인과/상관관계를 분석합니다.

Our lab focuses primarily on the interaction between domestic politics and international politics beyond the barriers of existing academic disciplines.

Due to the rapid development and spread of innovative science and technology, and changes in the global structure caused by the rise of global China, there is an explosion of qualitative, quantitative, and transformative changes in old and new political phenomena. The interactions between domestic and international politics in the 2020s have exploded in each region and country with more variables in their reasoning, going well beyond the scope of conventional political science.

In the field of research, specific studies are conducted in various ways under the major theme of interaction. They attempt to analyze the impact of interactions between domestic and international politics on the politics and economy of the countries concerned. For example, one study analyzes how global China’s global power projection as a variable interacts with the domestic political variables of other regions and countries. At the same time, by applying a new analytical framework called Politics of Things, a convergence-oriented political approach, we can study the political characteristics of objects themselves, such as semiconductors, plastics, batteries, forests, and AI; observe their involved actors and networks; and analyze the causality/correlation of domestic and international political interactions resulting therefrom.
